What data we collect and why
Membership registration
When you register for a free or paid membership account, we collect your name and email address. We use this information to create and manage your account, send you confirmation emails, and notify you when new content is published. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract (your membership agreement with us).
Payment information
If you purchase a paid membership or course, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe processes your payment data under its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/gb/privacy. The legal basis for processing your payment is the performance of a contract.
Booking enquiries
If you use the bookings page to schedule a consultation, this is handled via Cal.com. The data you provide (name, email, any pre-meeting notes) is processed by Cal.com under its own privacy policy. Cal.com may set cookies when its booking widget loads on our site — you can manage your cookie preferences using the banner on this site. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in providing a booking service.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are most visited and how people arrive. Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data using cookies. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out of analytics cookies using the cookie preference banner on this site, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The legal basis for analytics processing is your consent.
Email communications
Transactional emails (membership confirmations, password resets, content notifications) are sent via Brevo, our email delivery service. Brevo processes your email address on our behalf and does not use it for its own marketing. You can read Brevo’s privacy policy at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/.
Contact
If you email us at hello@trenowin.co.uk, we will use your name and email address to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list as a result of a contact email. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or contractual reasons (for example, records of paid transactions).
Email correspondence is retained for up to two years unless there is a reason to keep it longer.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above (Stripe, Cal.com, Google Analytics, Brevo) that are necessary to operate the site and provide our services. Each of these providers acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually required to protect your data.
We may disclose personal data if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process.
